I finally found the confidence to try wearing denim on denim. First off, I just had to tell myself to rock it because I knew the more I stood in the mirror and picked it apart, the more I would convince myself to change clothes.
Now, I'm obsessed with the look. First off, it was the perfect outfit for a semi-chilly day-- not too hot, not too cold, AND if I did get hot, all you have to do is throw the jacket around your waist. It's a look; I swear. I paired the denim with a basic, ribbed, high neck tank top from Free People to keep things neutral.
My favorite part of the look, however, are these beautiful blush perforated sneakers from GREATS. This color is so in right now. I replaced my blush suede Adidas Gazelles that were getting worn down so quickly with these babies here. They're handmade in Italy with premium leather-- they will last you for years.
I've talked to a ton of people who feel like they can't pull off pink sneakers. Trust me, you can. Blush is a neutral, y'all. It can be worn with anything. Especially basics. I mean, I probably wouldn't mix them with an outfit that has 50 other things going on, but seriously, these sneaks can be thrown on with everything. I always wear them with any athleisure outfits too. Just like wearing them with denim on denim, you can also do white on white, or black on black. That way the shoes will be the star of the show.

Along with pink sneaks, I'm a sucker for bandanas. I usually buy mine at J. Crew and Madewell, but I found this cute black and white print at, you guessed it, Target. It was only $6. I linked it at the end of this post!
That's all I have for y'all today, Making Joy and Bliss readers! Thanks so much for checking out the post, and let me know if you grab a pair of GREATS or rock denim on denim anytime soon! xo
