My Thoughts on a Few Glossier Products

I started seeing ads for Glossier on Facebook about a year ago. Since the brand was foreign to me, I was interested in what it was all about but I never took the time to try it. A good friend of mine, Bre Shaub became a Glossier Rep and started telling me all about the products. She also had a link where I could shop and get 20% off of my first order. I was really excited so I finally ordered a few things.

Balm Dotcom in Coconut • $12

Balm Dotcom is described as a "hydrating, long-lasting, multipurpose lip and skin salve that's packed with antioxidants and natural emollients to nourish and repair dry chafed skin." Let me tell you, Balm Dotcom does just this! I love this stuff. It is extremely hydrating without being oily or sticky. The hint of coconut is the perfect touch. I really do use this everywhere; the area between my brow bone and my eyelid tends to be really dry (maybe from rubbing itchy eyes?) and using Aquaphor in the morning is just too greasy. I've loved using Balm Dotcom up there- it really gets the job done.

Perfecting Skin Tint in Medium • $26

If you're looking for a medium-full coverage product this is not the one for you. This Perfecting Skin Tint is the lightest coverage I have ever worn. It comes out of the container with a super runny consistency and goes on almost completely sheer. While all of this sounds negative, I actually adore it. The shade medium is great for my skin tone, and I've never been great with foundation so the Skin Tint is good for those days when I feel like I need to wear something. I use my fingers to apply the product since a Beauty Blender just soaks up all the product.

 Boy Brow • $16

When I hear the name "Glossier" I think "Boy Brow". It's one of the products they're most well-known for, and I totally understand why. In the past, filling my brows in was never a concern of mine. I just never wanted to spend the time doing them, and I could never get them to look natural-- like my real eyebrows, just enhanced. Bre really encouraged me to try Boy Brow and I'm so glad I did. I finally threw out all of the pencils and weird products I was trying and stuck to this. I'll definitely be repurchasing. The formula has a brown tint to it which thickens your brows while keeping them in place all day. Takes me less than a minute to fix my brows and then I'm out the door!
