Friday Five

Hello, hello! Happy summer! I got off of school a few weeks ago, but now that the weather is heating up and my sister is out of school, I'm really getting into the swing of things. With all the craziness that came with the end of this school year, (you can read about the changes that took place here), the blog was the last thing on my mind. Boy, did I miss it. But, I did recently post about my self-tanner routine and here I am with a Friday Five for ya. Enjoy my favorites from this week!

Fairlife Protein Shakes + Coffee

I recently started a summer job watching after two little kiddos from 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. It's exhausting for sure, but I can't get enough of those little 3 and 5-year-olds. I have noticed, however, that it can be really tricky to find time to feed myself since I'm either feeding the kids themselves, cleaning something up, or making sure someone isn't getting into something they shouldn't be. If ya didn't know, I'm lactose intolerant (ew) so Fairlife dairy products are my go-to. My mom and I just found their protein shakes the other day and have loved them. They're pretty low on sugar and high in protein. I'm not a huge fan of lunch (I swear that breakfast IS the most important meal of the day) so I always reach for these so I can fill myself up so I don't become "mean nanny molly" due to hunger ha! My mom brewed a 4oz strong coffee with the Keurig the other day and added it to my shake over ice-- it was delicious. Go try it.

Tory Burch Miller Sandals

I've been coveting these sandals ever since my mom got her 100th pair (joking, kind of). I finally snagged them during the Nordstrom sale and these babies are not coming off of my feet all summer. I just wore them through the airport all morning and they are so ridiculously comfortable. I got the shade "Makeup" and they really do go with everything.

Lou and Grey Loungewear Set

I grabbed this adorable pale blue loungewear set at Lou and Grey the other day and am wearing it as I type. It isn't sold as a set, but I made it one when I saw it at the store. There's not much to say about it other than the fact that it's extremely comfy, has pockets, and is super lightweight-- great for a breezy summer night.

When Pieces of Me reached out and offered to let me pick out one of their beautiful gold cuff bracelets I was ecstatic. I love this company because its newest campaign, #YouMeanMore is all about "inspiring women to have confidence, strength, and know that they mean more." The cuffs can represent so many different encouraging traits such as "adventurous, creative, confident, and independent." Mine stands for "determined." I love it.

Barry Manilow Concert

The most exciting part about this blog post is recapping my 3rd Barry Manilow concert. My mom is the biggest Fanilow (Manilow Fan) EVER, so whenever he’s in town, or even remotely close, we go. The last time we saw him in concert we traveled to Philadelphia, PA for a girls weekend. That was apparently his “One Last Time Tour”, yet here we are again. It was extra fun because my sister, my mom’s bestie, and her daughter came along. I danced all night.
