A GREATS Thanksgiving

Happy belated Thanksgiving and MERRY CHRISTMAS, peeps! I hope you had the best day full of food, family, friends, and TONS of hugs from those you love. My dad and I both rocked our favorite sneakers for to kick off the most wonderful time of the year. This year I became a campus ambassador for GREATS, an incredible Brooklyn-based sneaker company and so far I've had THE best time working with all of the great (haha, GREATS, get it?) people on the team, and with all the excitement around this company, my dad insisted on grabbing a pair for himself. 

His sneaker collection was pretty sweet already, so when picking out a pair of GREATS he really wanted something different from anything he already had. He chose the Royale Flight Pack in Cargo, a classic green that is so dang versatile. He wears them with everything. 

It was a pretty chilly Thanksgiving at the river house in Southern Maryland this year, so he bundled up with a quilted Barbour jacket and slim camel-colored pants by AG. Shop his pants here. His Barbour jacket is from a few years ago, but I'll link something similar here. 

I love these slip on Greats because the fact that they're perforated makes the classic black slip on a little unique. They're super comfy, and not only do they go with everything, but the leather is such great quality so they're warm for the winter. 

I was so excited to style them with my favorite denim from Topshop, and this tie-sleeve sweatshirt from J. Crew- shop similar here. I (and every other blogger) am obsessed with the classic tie-sleeve look this season. But of course, the shoes were the star of the show. Usually you'll see me wearing these sneaks with an athleisure look, but since they work with anything and everything in my closet, I threw them on with denim!
