Hellooooo 2018! I hope your year is off to a joyous start! I can't wait to see what year 2 of Making Joy and Bliss has in store!

Today I have a quick little post full of my favorites from this past year. These are things that I will be holding onto during 2018, and LOVED in 2017. Let me know in the comments if you've loved any of these things too! xoxo

L'oreal Lash Paradise

This mascara is a total dupe for "Better Than Sex" and let me tell ya, I am never going back to that $20 mascara! This drugstore find is a life-changer for my lashes and I love telling people about it. I included it in my gift for my roomie's birthday gift, and now she's obsessed now too! Run, don't walk to the closest CVS and grab it!

ASOS Black Bodysuit

This was the first bodysuit I ever tried and I wear it at least once a week. It's so chic, simple, and did I mention comfy? I love this thing and I know it's going to be on repeat in 2018.

Too Faced Setting Spray

This setting spray is an investment for sure, but I picked it up when I was desperate for a spray that locked in moisture for the winter. I used the Urban Decay All-Nighter spray for years, but I was just so frustrated with the fact that I never really saw a difference when I used it. I asked one of the girls at Sephora if it was worth the $32 and she promised it would be-- she was right!

GREATS Slip-on Sneakers

If you've been reading the blog for a while now, you know that my favorite sneaker brand is GREATS! I grabbed these perforated slip-on sneaks at the beginning of the fall and have worn them non-stop. They're such a staple. You can read about them more in depth and see how I styled them for Thanksgiving here!

Topshop Jeans

Like most girls, leggings are my best friend, but these jeans are some of the comfiest things I own! I could nap in these, run a mile in these, and eat a whole Thanksgiving dinner in them without feeling the need to unbutton! True story.

Silver Mules (similar)

I grabbed these mules before traveling to Europe and I was really nervous about the purchase. I honestly never thought that I'd wear them. I used to call them my "Tin Man" shoes. But, my opinion has changed-- they're so stinkin' cute, so comfy, and practical too!

Apple Watch

This little gadget might actually be my favorite purchase of the year! I'm going to avoid rambling on and on about it because that would take forever, but I did do a whole post on it earlier this year-- check it out here!

ASOS Oversized Denim Jacket

An oversized denim jacket is a wardrobe staple for sure. I love wearing it draped over my shoulders like this for a boujee look, but I also wear it thrown on over a flannel and a pair of joggers. I love this thing so much and still wear it layered under my winter coat. It's affordable too-- remember to use your student discount at ASOS if you order!

Kate Spade Backpack

Casual backpack, for the win. I kind of think this is a little bit of a "mom bag" but don't knock the backpack before you try it! Being handsfree is so nice and this one from Kate Spade even fits my laptop.

Fur Loafers

These were a weird purchase for me, and if I could drop almost $1,000 on a pair of shoes I'd buy to Gucci version, but these babies from Target rock. I love these so much-- I seriously feel like I'm wearing slippers wherever I go. I kind of am haha! But anyway, if you've been dying to try this trend, DO IT! And rock it! You can! The biggest thing is to not overthink the fur. These shoes can pretty much go with anything in your wardrobe.

Patagonia Pullover

And last but not least, this classic pullover from Patagonia is the bomb. I wear it with jeans, leggings, or even shorts (this photo was taken after hiking a crazy mountain with my best friends.) Taking care of this pullover is easy which is my favorite thing about it because since it goes through so much, it needs to be washed frequently. It still looks good as new!
