Hello hello! I’m writing to y’all from the car on the way back home from vacation! We had the best time at the beach but I am ready to get home and get back into a routine. Since I missed yesterday’s Friday Five, I thought I’d share six of my favorites today. I haven’t written a blog post in a while, so it was nearly impossible to narrow it down.

Kitsch masks

I have tried so many cute, cloth masks, and these are the ONLY ones that I can breathe in. These don’t get hot and are super comfortable. I really encourage you to try these if you’re wearing the blue medical-looking masks for comfort, but want to wear something cute. WEAR YOUR MASK!

Tito’s dog bed

This is Tito’s favorite dog bed in the world. He also just ripped a hole in it with his baby teeth so I just had to order another one because he loves it that much. The shape is perfect for him to curl up in, and have I mentioned it looks cute in your house? My mom has one for her little pup and he also loves it. It is very effective in calming his crazy— haha.

Kitsch satin pillowcase

I used to use a satin pillowcase back in college, but it got old so I thought it was time to grab a replacement. Satin or silk pillowcases are so much better for your hair and skin. I use mine to focus on being kind to my skin. I find that cotton pillowcases strip my skin of its moisture overnight.

Dock & Bay beach towel

To be honest, I’m more of a pool girl than a beach girl. I don’t love the feeling that saltwater leaves on my skin and the worst is when your beach towel is COVERED in sand. I guess my phone heard me when Timmy and I started talking about the beach because all of the sudden ads for a beach towel brand called Dock & Bay started popping up. I was hooked and ordered one. Now I’m ordering a few more because they’re amazing. The towel is a microfiber material, so sand shakes right off, it’s compact., and dries super quick. Our boat captain on our fishing trip said he is going to order one!

Applying sunscreen with a makeup brush

I got a pretty rough burn on my face on the first day. I always forget how rough that FL sun is. The next day, when I went to put sunscreen on, it hurt to the touch. Smearing the sunscreen hurt even worse. I remembered I had a make-up brush that I don’t use in my bag, so I grabbed it and applied my sunscreen like it was foundation. It felt amazing, y’all. I’ll never apply sunscreen any other way. I was able to apply in all the tricky spots, and I even did it to Timmy— he loved it.

Aerie ribbed top

I repurchase these ribbed long sleeve tops every fall. I live for Aerie y’all. If you’re not shopping there, you’re missing out. They are also on sale right now! I wear a small. Shop here.
