Hey there, fellow Making Joy and Blissers! It’s Emma, one of Molly’s best girls– you may have seen me featured on Molly’s Instagram page a handful of times. I’ll insert a picture below for good measure! Why am I here? I’m here to take over Friday Five and share some of my favorite things from the past few months!

First up, I have my Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. I have been down the road and back for many years on the hunt for the best lip moisturizing product I could possibly find. My journey was put to a complete halt when I came across this product. As a lip balm, it’s all-encompassing. Its texture is so smooth and luxurious-feeling and it keeps my lips soft all dang day long. As a lip balm snob, I rate this #1. Aquaphor is a very close second ;)

Anyone who knows me (*ehhem* Molly) can vouch that skincare and a healthy dewy glow are my native language. I had always known of jade rollers, but I had never heard of a Gua Sha. If you have, snaps to you. But if you haven’t, let me take a second to explain why this item is transformative. A Gua Sha (seen next to the jade roller) is typically made from jade and it is a face contouring tool that when pressed and stroked across the face, drains lymph from the face and neck. Let’s get sciency -- lymph is the fluid that flows through the lymphatic system (part of the immune system) and has the function of basic circulation of toxins out of the body. When the Gua Sha is ran across the face, the lymph moves around and helps to banish any puffiness or muscle tension. I use mine every other morning and I have noticed such a difference in the puffy area around my eyes and I’ve actually noticed my jawline become more defined. 10/10 from me!

I was in Target the other day grabbing a new body wash when I noticed this new body conditioner from Olay. I snagged the last one left and put it in my cart. When I tell you that that decision changed my life, I’m not kidding. I shower as usual and when I put my hair conditioner in, I put this on my legs and arms. I have a mini-concert in my shower where I pretend I’m Ariana Grande for about 10 minutes and then I rinse off. Doesn’t sound like a big deal, right? Wrong. This product makes my skin so fluffin’ soft, smooth, and healthy- looking. My skin looks like the perfect skin that the women in body soap commercials have.

Again, with the skincare!! Last one, I promise! If you, like myself, suffer from uneven skin tone, facial scars, stretch marks, and dry skin, listen up! I come to you with one of my greatest secrets-- Bio-Oil! This has helped monumental amounts in softening, even diminishing scars on my face from acne and sun damage and it has also helped a lot with stretch marks near my tush. I also highly recommend this for a general face oil. It’s non-comedogenic and non-greasy. I use this very often and the results are quick and permanent.

These Slip Small Slipsilk™ Scrunchies along with the Large Slipsilk™ Scrunchies are definitely worth all of the hype. I’ve truthfully found my hair softer, silkier, and less frizzy since I transitioned from typical hair ties to these silk ones. Both the small and large work great for all types of hair – it’s just which look you prefer. I will say that the smaller scrunchies stay in place better than the large. They also stay in better, period! I basically do a full Circ-Du-Soleil act in my sleep and I wake up with my bun still in the same place as it was when I went to bed. My Goody hair ties could never. If you’re not feelin’ the price point for the Slip brand hair scrunchies, I’ve linked small and large silk scrunches that are a fraction of the cost of Slip.

Last but certainly not least, here’s the book I’ve been soaking in. Scazzero is my go-to author for devotionals and other faith-based books. No matter where you are on your walk with Jesus, this book is such a good one.

That’s all for my time here y’all! Thanks for reading! XO, Emma (@emmakeev)
